Keith A. Maddox, President and CEO of Vantage Construction Corporation Keith began his career in construction at Virginia Tech University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. Upon his graduation in 1986, Keith started at TUCON Systems, Inc. as a field superintendent. During the next three years, Keith rose to the position of project manager. In 1992, he left TUCON to start Maddox Enterprises, a commercial general contractor specializing in the design-build construction of dental offices. In 1994, Keith returned to TUCON as a senior project manager. From 1996 to 1998, Keith was Vice President of Operations for W.R. Manchester in Alexandria, VA. W.R. Manchester specialized in commercial and institutional construction including churches, private schools, office buildings, and flex/industrial buildings. In a little more than two years at W.R. Manchester, Mr. Maddox doubled annual company revenues from approximately $8 Million to over $17 Million. Keith returned to TUCON in 1998 and was promoted to the position of President in early 1999. As President, he was directly responsible for all aspects of managing the day to day operations as well as strategic planning for the future of the company. This included oversight of all project management activities, field operations, estimating, accounting, human resources, administrative staff and management of professional consultants. The company employed as many as 140 employees and grew to be ranked in the top twenty general contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Washington DC metropolitan area. With Keith at its helm, TUCON's annual revenues rose from approximately $28 Million to $98 Million. In February 2004, Keith started Vantage Construction Corporation with long time professional associate William Moore. Keith and Vantage specialize in the construction of commercial buildings with an emphasis on flex/industrial, low-rise office, tenant interiors, mission critical facilities, and retail construction. In five short years, Vantage has grown to 23 employees generating nearly $30 Million in revenues in 2008. Keith currently serves on the Industry Board for the Myers Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. He also serves on the Board of Directors for ABC of Virginia and is a member of the General Contractor's Council, Green Building Committee and Local Affairs Committee for ABC. He serves on the NAIOP Government relations committee as well as the Board of the Builder's Foundation, a Loudoun County based non-profit charity. Keith resides in Warren County, Virginia with his wife, four children, and two dogs. |

William H. Moore, Executive Vice President and COO of Vantage Construction Corporation Bill began his career in construction as an entry level carpenter's helper in 1985 Throughout the course of the next ten years, Bill learned the construction trade by taking increasingly more responsible jobs, and ultimately became a project superintendent. Prior to beginning his career in the construction trade, Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for a four year term. From 1988 to 1993, Bill was a project superintendent for TUCON Systems, Inc. During this five year span, three of Bill's projects won "Project of the Year" awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors. Bill left TUCON in 1993 to continue his education; obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi. From 1999 to 2004, Bill worked for a boutique law firm in Washington, DC specializing in construction and contract law. He worked with Owners, General Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers advising and counseling them on all aspects of construction law including risk management, contract consulting, claim resolution and litigation. During his time as an attorney, Bill published several articles in Job-Site Supervisor and conducted numerous training seminars for area contractors. In February 2004, Mr. Moore left the practice of law and started Vantage Construction Corporation with long time professional associate Keith Maddox. For the last five years, Bill and Vantage have specialized in the construction of commercial buildings with an emphasis on flex/industrial, low-rise office, tenant interiors, mission critical facilities, and retail construction. In five short years, Vantage has grown to 23 employees generating nearly $30 Million in revenues in 2008. Bill resides in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with his wife and three dogs. |
